Victoria’s recent paintings are derived from her interest in the changing environment, encompassing images of old and new, classic architecture juxtaposed against the modern vision. Spending time amidst the city has flooded her with inspiration and intrigue, seeing these places change at such a rate they are inevitably transforming into indefinable places. The images and individuals within the paintings play the part of challenging this change, hinting at the past but trying ultimately to celebrate the life of the city.

Based in Mossley, on the outskirts of Manchester, Victoria is a member of Woodend Mill Artists Group.
